LEGO Camp Wednesday

LEGO Camp
Wednesday
June 12, 2019

Today was "E is for Engineering".  Campers spent the first half of the morning helping the LEGO Knights defeat the trolls by building LEGO catapults that could launch cotton balls at least one foot.  They used the Engineering Design Process to create, test and improve their catapult designs.

Here are the results of their test throws with their catapult.
They determined that their shortest toss was 31 inches and their longest toss was 104 inches.

The second half of the morning the campers learned about bridge design by exploring the Playground App and then tried to use their knowledge to build bridges from LEGOs.

Campers also enjoyed more challenge builds.
